Gold mosaic tile earrings

These earrings stand out for their special pendants: 19th-century gold mosaic tiles, originally crafted for ecclesiastical decorations and no longer in production.
Rediscovered in the underground of Studio Cassio, these mosaic tesserae are crafted from a red enamel “pizza,” on which gold leaf is applied and protected by an additional, ultra-thin layer of glass.
