By the end of 18th century, mosaic technique had reached its highest perfection, producing the most detailed mosaics from minuscule pieces of glass. In this workshop, by using thin glass tesserae – a technique used in Roman micromosaics – a unique and timeless piece of jewelry can be produced which commemorates a unique aspect of the Eternal City.
